Man City vs Arsenal
This is a filler article as the previous thread has topped 1000 comments and it might now be a good idea to leave some of the politics behind in the previous thread and try to get back to football as our core activity.
Obviously, from our perspective, we want Arsenal to win as that brings closer the inevitable crowning of Liverpool as Champions but I really, really dislike Arsenal (1989 has left deep scars).
I think City will win the game though as they will be at home and have experience of playing in front of a largely empty stadium and frankly they are streets ahead of Arsenal.
I was thinking though how many of either the City Team or indeed the Arsenal team would make our squad. So here they are though I might have missed out some:
City: Ederson, Cancelo, Zinchenko, Mendy, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Rodrigo, Gundogan, Rodrigo, Mahrez , Foden, Sterling, Aguero, Jesus, DeBruyne, Bravo, Walker, Silva, Mendy, Garcia,
Arsenal: Leno, Papastathopoulos, Luiz, Marí, Saka, Ceballos, Xhaka, Pépé, Nelson, Özil, Bellerín, Aubameyang, Nketiah, Lacazette, Martinez, Willcock, Guendouzi, Martinelli.
What do you think? Would any get into our squad? I suspect not many if any from Arsenal but probably a few from City. The big question though is would any get into the first team?
