Liverpool vs Burnley
The regular posters will know that I have an odd obsession with club mascots and my all time favourite is Bertie Bee the Burnley mascot (pictured below). Bertie is my favourite and my hero because he was sent off in 2017 for offering the referee’s assistant a pair of spectacles. Fortunately he escaped further punishment because they said he was a good worker. (boom boom). Some posters on here have scoffed and said it’s very unlikely to be the same Bertie Bee they had back in 2017. Now I happen to know a thing or two about the birds and bees and bees are like fingerprints in that no two are the same. I have taken the trouble to check Bertie’s markings and they are exactly the same now as they were back then which proves that it is indeed the same Bertie.
It goes without saying (so I will say it anyway) that we need to win on Thursday night to get our title defence back on track. Burnley have not won in four games now though they played well against United and were unlucky to lose 0-1. Their main problem is scoring goals with just 9 in 17 game. After this game i hope their new problem will be the number conceded.
I think there were signs in our game against United on Sunday that the team is getting there, especially in the first half and hopefully we will start the same way against Burnley but that this time our forwards have remembered to put their boots on the right foot. I am predicting a 3-0 win.

BREAKING NEWS: The FA have just announced that United has been awarded a penalty in their game against Fulham later tonight.
