It’s Crystal Ball Time….!!!!

Stu was after articles, but there’s too many meaty topics to choose from, so I thought I’d have a go at this instead. I don’t normally bother with predictions tbh & only do our scores in the Prediction League coz, quite frankly, I’m too lazy to give a f*ck about the others. They can do what they want… As long as we’re alright…..Sod ‘em.
Anyway…. Each team’s predicted position at the end of this season. In all honesty, I stopped giving a sh1t after doin the top 4, so not much thought, or effort, has gone into the rest.
As you’ll see….😀
ARSENAL. Let’s put it this way… AFTV might just about be the most watched youtube channel this coming season. Meltdowns galore guaranteed. They’re sh!te. Predict;….14th
ASTON VILLA. Grealish, or no Grealish, they’re not gonna be near the top 4 at the end of the season. They’ll probably do OK tho. Don’t really care tbh. Predict – 8th
BRENTFORD. Nearly everybody’s favourite 2nd club & well deserved too. They’ll find it tough up here, but I reckon that they’re tough enough to deal with it. Hope they stay around & improve. Their fans will have a brilliant time this season.. Good luck to them. Predict;…..15th
BURNLEY. As opposed to Brentford…. Definitely NOT everybody’s favourite 2nd club. Dyche’s done well to keep them up for so long, with such limited resources….But they won’t be missed, after they finally get relegated this season. Predict – 18th
BRIGHTON. I quite like Brighton. They can play some decent footy at times. At times. Predict;….13th
CHELSEA. Already shown that they’re gonna be hard to beat. A much-improved Lukaku will be a threat upfront for them. Definite contenders. (Still can’t stand the tw4ts). Predict:…2nd
CRYSTAL PALACE. They play some really good footy at times & it’s great that they’re in the Prem, but this is just about their level. Predict – 16th
EVERTON. If I was a bluenose, would I be feeling excited in any way, about the rest of the season…?? Probably not. Mid-table football, from a mid-table football club. Meh.… Predict – 9th
LEEDS. Leeds can be great to watch at times, but they can also be all over the place at times too. They play good footy tho & could do well…Or not. Predict – 10th
LEICESTER. They just seem to lack resilience at times & they can be really weak when under pressure. They’ve had a little tilt at the top 4. Can’t see them doin that this season. Not a bad side tho, by any means. Predict; – 7th
LIVERPOOL. We’ll pick up from the 19/20 season & we’ll be winning number 20 this season. Great manager, great squad, great fans back in the ground…..The Holy Trinity of football. Fans & fitness will be the key for us. It won’t be as easy as 19/20, but I’m convinced that it’ll be clinched by the end of April 2022. At home to our beloved neighbours, would be a nice time & place to clinch the title. Predict – Champions.
MAN CITY. This might surprise some. I just think that there’s something missing. They’ve obviously got the money to buy their way out of any trouble, but there’s summat missing with Pep too. Dunno, just think they’ll struggle a bit more this season. Predict – 3rd
MAN UTD. Varane is a top player & he’ll strengthen the team…Sancho too possibly. I’m just hoping that their other ‘top’ signing this summer has an absolute nightmare. Ironic really… The club are swimming in debt & players like BF & Ronaldo diving all over the place….? They’ve got got decent players there, but Ole’s at the wheel & Bruno Penandes is gonna get right cheesed off, when he can’t take the penalties if Ronaldo’s on the pitch. Bad tempered rat that he is. He’ll implode at some stage. Predict – 4th (reluctantly)
NEWCASTLE. Sorry, but no-way the lads. Maybe this needs to happen…?? Things have got to change up there. The Geordies are bonkers about their footy & deserve a new owner & a better footy team to support. Bad owners, eh…? Predict – Rock bottom – 20th
NORWICH. They’ll struggle but, if luck’s on their side, they can stay in the league, for at least another season….Just, Predict – 17th
SOUTHAMPTON. It’s hard to know what to expect from this lot some times. I expect a mid table finish for them. Predict;…11th
SPURS. Don’t think they’ll reach top 4, but I do think that they’ll have a good season. Whatever’s going on behind the scenes, any side with Son in it, is always dangerous. Will be interesting to see how Nuno gets on with this lot. Predict – 5th
WATFORD. Not much to say about these. Can’t see them staying up. That’s all really. Predict – Relegated – 19th
WEST HAM. I’m actually not surprised that West Ham have been having a go lately. Moyes isn’t that bad of a manager…at this level. He did a decent job at Everton & he’s doin a decent job here so far imo. Predict – 6th.
WOLVES. They’ve done well & they battle hard in every game they play in. Decent team, but not sure about them without Nuno. Predict – 12th
So… There we are…. Liverpool champions again, with Chelsea runners-up & City & Utd claiming the other two CL slots for next season & bye-bye to Newcastle, Watford & Burnley.
I’ll be happy if just that very first bit is right….😀
