Watford v Liverpool
I have run out of new things to say about Watford. I have done all the jokes about the Watford gap (8 points and 13 places) and Watford being the point at which civilisation ends and the North starts. I have dragged in Elton John a few times too and even gone and broken his heart. I have also picked on their poor old mascot Harry the Hornet (see picture) who upset Crystal Palace by simulating a dive after Zaha was booked for doing the same 😉. Harry was even awarded a free kick by the referee. (No of course he wasn’t. That would be silly…. it was a penalty)
I am getting a little concerned by Klopp lately who seems frustrated by something. I don’t disagree with any of his comments about battles between club and Country, the way Watford go through managers, the treatment of players by England and the Saudi takeover of Newcastle. It just reminds of the way I got when I came towards the end of my time at work and I started to say what I really thought about things and probably a little too readily. Hopefully, I am reading too much into it and perhaps he just had a row with the Missus. I certainly hope so because I think the Watford gap is largely down to him.
Team: Shame that we have lost Alisson, Fab and Jones for this game and that Thiago is still not fit so I am going for a team of Kelleher, TAA, Matip, VVD, Robertson. Hendo, Milner, Keita, Mane, Jota, Salah.
