West ‘aaam v Liverpool
Right, next up we ‘ave West ‘aaaam or the ‘ammers. They ‘ave been ‘aving a good run lately and on their day will give any team a good run for their money. I am surprised that no one is yet touting Moyes for the vacant managerial post at Man United 😉 He knows the club and I think he would continue the good work of his predecessors.
But, as we all know, with two other top top teams in City and Chelsea every game is a must win in this league. It is good that the heat will be taken out of our final two CL games so that we can focus on the league but a pain that the call on our players for International duty is relentless. The only half positive is that all top teams are similarly affected.
We are looking a little light in midfield at the moment, with only Ox and Morton as backup. Jones has a scratch on his eye, which is bloody painful as I can attest to, but it means he should be back soon. I am hopeful too, that after the International break, Keita and Milner might be in the mix once again and we will have some decent options.. Either way, we still have a first team to rival and probably better any others, so if they perform as they can, we should have too much for Moyes’ boys. Team: Alisson, TAA, Matip, VVD, Robbo. Fab, Hendo, Thiago, Mane, Jota, Salah. The only real question is whether we stick with Robbo at left back or bow to the inevitable and make the transition now to his younger successor Tsimikas 🙂
