Liverpool v Leeds United
I always look forward to playing a game against Leeds as it takes me back to the time when I was young, when I first started supporting Liverpool and when Leeds was one of the really big games. I never liked Leeds at the time and I can’t say I really like them now, but I am glad they are back in the Premiership. It’s a nostalgia thing, oh and the fact that they can’t stand Manu either. 😁
With one eye on Sunday. I think Klopp will bring back in some of his regular first team but mix things up in midfield with options to come off the bench. I think he is now able to do what he wanted to do last season but couldn’t because of injuries. Namely, to use rotation to develop the wider squad and to compete across all competitions. Team: Alisson, TAA, Matip, VVD, Robbo, Fab, Keita, Elliott, Salah, Origi, Diaz
As a footnote, it seems that Chelsea suffered a couple of unfortunate injuries against Lille (Kovocic and Ziyech) Shame that and there’s no time for Abramovich to buy any replacements for Sunday.
