Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club v Liverpool Football Club
Unusual to have three games in a week, but Inter in midweek and now Brighton and then Hove Albion. I am beginning to see why Klopp thinks it would be a good idea to have 11 subs per game in the EPL It’s not to gain an advantage, of course. He’s only thinking of the players’ welfare. So don’t laugh.
It seems we might have some injury or covid issues going on but Klopp was playing it all coy (see presser below) so we will have to wait and see when the team is announced. The players in doubt are VVD, Konate and Thiago who were all absent from training yesterday. . It would be a concern if they were all missing, but hopefully not.
Team: Alisson, TAA, Matip, VVD, Robbo, Fab, Hendo, Thiago, Mane, Diaz, Sala .This assumes the best but we have sufficient replacements if necessary and should have enough to do the job along with full use of the meagre number of subs allowed
