Perfection. Where does one stop?

Footy is a funny old game.
We all strive, no, expect perfection but what does that actually mean?

I suppose it would be nice to win every match we play.
38 league games, all the cup games and win the lot.
Is that perfection though?
Some would say, damned right and to a degree they wouldn’t be wrong.

Let’s address perfection before moving on to reality.

Any team, be it our team wins every trophy 🏆 on offer. We score 5, 6 goals a match, every match. We hit over a hundred goals and concede 10.
Is that perfection? Will the perfectionist’s see this as perfection?
No the won’t.

If we scored 200 goals and conceded 0 and win everything on offer, is that perfection? No once again because perfection cannot ever be reached, to achieve perfection is impossible. The sums are infinite, which within that word itself dictates perfection is unachievable.
There is no number that can achieve infinity.

We’ve all been a wee bit annoyed, down even with the weekend that has transpired but that’s because we expect, or perhaps more so we believe we can achieve, which is a lot closer to the stars than how our great club once was during our dormant existence during the dark days of the 90’s.

This season, every season since 2015 has been a journey of progression.

Perfection of winning the Quadruple? As I’ve mentioned, if we did win all four, would that be perfection?
You can decide that through your own thoughts and analytic thingies.

The season is far from over, we have already made history by still being in the mix for the quadruple. No team on these shores has ever gone this far in search of all four.

We may only win the one trophy, we might win two, three. Perhaps we might win all four. One thing for sure is, this is the greatest Liverpool squad I’ve ever witnessed. It’s not just the players, it’s how we play. Jurgen Norbert Klopp has brought back the mentality monsters back within the heads of our players.

Shanks said after we were turned over by Red Star Belgrade both home and away, ” We’ll play like them, passing, moving” in ,1974 we passed and moved what was formally known as Newcastle United off of the park. We won the FA cup with our new style of play. That’s called evolution.

We have rediscovered evolution from the giant that was sleeping, for perhaps decades.

The tree was dying, almost lost but a seed fell to the undergrowth waiting….and waiting to germinate.
We had many false dawn’s but now, the seed that fell from the tree is growing once more.

Perfection doesn’t exist.
Passion and fervour does exist.

Money can’t buy you love nor fans.

Perfection does not exist, it’s infinity which has no limits.

We can hope and achieve success but we nor anybody else will ever achieve infinite status in this world or any other.

The tide is turning, it’s been turning for 30 years. The money ( laundering ) men invaded our National sport a long time ago, from Manure, to Chavs, to Cheats and now Saudi United. They have opposition now, and that is our club, yours and my club. They want it their own way, but they are not getting it their own way because we compete. They don’t like it, but we compete.

They spend billions n we buy players that enhance our Red Army.

This has turned into a rant rather than the point, but all are connected.

My question and main point is, what do you, the community believe perfection is?

We might win 1✔️
We might win 2, pending.
We might win 3, pending,
We might win 4, pending.

Thing is lads and lass, we are further in the game of the Quadruple than anyone before us.

Let’s make some more history.

We are LIVERPOOL and Fook the fooking rest!
