I should explain that Bertie Mee was the Arsenal manager way back in Shankly’s day. The North bank was a stand at Arsenal’s old Highbury ground and pop(ular)side was a stand at the Baseball ground which was Derby’s old ground. The ram is derby’s mascot.

It will be a trip down memory lane for me as I can remember the days of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor at Derby when they were a decent side and competing in the old first division even winning it a couple of times in the 70s and competing in Europe. Sad to see them now two divisions down.

Hopefully tonight we will se a few of the Liverpool squad players getting some game time together with the youngsters who it’s always nice to see especially those knocking on the door of the first team. Looking forward to a less stressful watch than of late and saving our energy for the final game of the half season against Southampton.
