Shortly after Morocco see off Portugal, England will be attempting to see off the French and reach the World Cup semi finals. Touch wood ,I have never been superstitious but there are some omens which are hard to ignore. The last time England won the WC was (now when was it? Ah yes) in 1966 and if you add the digits together you get 22 and this year is 2022. If that isn’t compelling evidence foretelling an England win I don’t know what is .Eat your heart out mystic….
