What’s the best thing about FSG? well, apart from the obvious ⬆️, I suppose it is the stability and growth they brought to the club and their commercial and managerial nous. I do see that they have been a force for good and effectively saved the club at a time when it might have really fallen apart. They are responsible for rebuilding the club and enabling it to take it’s rightful place, competing at the very peak of football.
What does annoy me though is how some people fawn over them and seem to believe that they really fell in love with the club and have a deep attachment. They don’t and never did. It was purely transactional and yes they saved our club and I will be eternally grateful, but they have got their 30 pieces of silver out of it. They won’t care who they sell to either and if their next club plays in blue, then Linda will be wearing blue dresses everywhere she goes and tweeting like a good un.
