Match thread: Wolves v Liverpool

The real footy starts back today and it’s the mighty reds that kick things off, much to Klopp’s displeasure. This will be the 12th time we’ve been scheduled for the early kick off after an international break. The next closest is Chelsea on 6 so Klopp has the right to feel aggrieved and we may not see our South American contingent start on the back of it, due to the fact they only returned to training 24 hours before kick off and with Nunez also reported to have suffered a minor injury while on international duty.

We will also be without Trent who’s recovering from a hamstring injury, Connor Bradley who’s out long term, Virgil is serving a suspension and Thiago is not yet match fit. To that end my team for today would be…
