The League cup should provide another good opportunity to try out some of the youngsters along with a few fringe players and a sprinkling of the first eleven. Hopefully, it will go something like the game against Toulouse which really showed the strength and depth of the squad we have now. This despite the injuries to Robbo, Thiago, Bajcetic and the exciting Doak who is now back in training again. This game might just come too soon for him to start but maybe off the bench.
Team is anyone’s guess but, I’ll have a go. Kelleher, Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Chambers, Endo, Gravenberch, Jones, Jota, Gakpo, Elliott.
