Arsenal v Liverpool

We haven’t played Arsenal for at least a week so it’s about bloody time we played them again. It goes without saying that this would be a really good game for us to win but I’ll say it anyway. A win would really cap off the run of results we’ve achieved during our most testing period with players out injured and others away on International duty. It’s not just the points we’ve gained but the way in which the team has played and developed over that period which gives us real hope for the rest of the season and well beyond.

Team: Alisson, TAA, Konate, VVD, Robertson, MacAllister, Bosz, Jones, Diaz, Nunez, Jota. I have assumed that Trent and Robbo will resume their positions but to be honest I wouldn’t be worried if either or both of Bradley and Gomez were in the starting lineup. We might also have Gravenberch, Elliott and even Thiago on the bench.
