A Ramble for the hell of it.
Well, it looks like the quadruple is still on. It doesn’t just look like it, it is on.
On the back of a game of two keepers we won our first League Cup in 10 years. Hendo doesn’t look much older🙄 than he looked back in 2012.
We celebrated our success with the players which was nice. Ali said Kel will join him on the goalie wall of fame.
Speaking of Kel, what a player. Nothing seems to distract him from the job at hand. He would walk into most PL teams as a no.1. Let’s hope he stays with us and bides his time until becoming our no.1, which will one day happen.
So, 1 down 3 to go.
Do you lot think it’s doable?
Do we have the resolve, determination?
Personally I think we’re on the cusp of a wave that could we’ll take us to victory on all 4 fronts, I achieved, 3 achievable.
Up next is Norwich in the FA Cup, they must be sick of the sight of us. We will treat them as we treat every team, a competitor that wants to win. We will give them the respect they deserve as we slot another 6 in the back of the net.
We should move on to the next round, but hey let’s not get complacent as we still have a job to do.
So that’s the FA cup wrapped up then😂.
Europe is where we love to be at. A European night at the home of football is always a special night.
I’m sure there will be mixed emotions at odds with themselves as we are already up 2-0 at halftime. This tie is far from over. We need to focus and weather their early storm. A couple before halftime would be nice, a couple for us, not them that is.
The only team I worry about in the competition is Bayern. They are a power for sure, though I’ve every faith we’ll do them if or when we face off with them.
So that’s the Champions League sorted then, though I still prefer to call it the European Cup.
On to the league.
6 points behind with a game in hand. Can we do it?
Yes we can, despite the refs doing all they can to help Cheats along. I’ve not watched any of the BlueShite V Cheats game but I’ve heard a few rumours in regards of handball. Oh well, we go again.
Speaking of shitting oneself, which I didn’t mention tbf but I have now. Cheats will be proper shitting themselves peering over their shoulder to view the Mighty Reds pulling tongues at them and vowing to catch them.
Be afraid Cheats, be very afraid.
During the league campaign we’ve had a wobble or several but we are still in the mix.
Some time ago the league was handed to Cheats on a plate long before the seasons end. That fact will play on the minds of the fickle sky blue cheating tossers. They thought they’d already won it. Big mistake.
So, we’ve wrapped up 3 cups and the League Title too.
Who said this footy thingie was difficult?
I’m all seriously seriousness it’s not going to be easy. But 1 down 3 to go is a start.
