Brentford vs Liverpool

I was trying to think what I know about Brentford and the only thing that came to mind was Brentford nylons. I have found the advert below to show the sort of thing I had to grow up with. I know that not all of you will have the Nokia anti-static app on your phones and laptops so be careful when you open it and make sure you are wearing rubber soled shoes (Please-Thankyou your usual outfit will also be fine)

Anyway, Brentford will present another challenge as they have had some good results and look fearless. They are also not averse to putting it about a bit, so, as with their nylons, the sparks could be flying. They had a very easy ride in the carabao cup in midweek and are at home, but they are probably not so used to playing twice a week and have fewer players to call upon. It will be a very interesting game of very different styles.

Liverpool have a couple of injuries to contend with in midfield just now with Thiago and Keita out but even without them the midfield still looks strong and it will need to be. We still have options too with Milner and Ox waiting in the wings as well as plenty of options in defence and attack too. There was some speculation that Gordon might make the bench as he missed the U23 game against Chelsea last night but I suspect he was just being rested and won’t feature today. Great prospect though.

Team: Alisson, TAA, Matip, VVD, Robbo, Fab, Hendo, Jones. Mane, Jota, Salah. I wouldn’t want to be facing that team, Not on my own anyway….
