Hiya chaps and chapette. 

 So here I am, the poor man’s Red. Not a super sub but just the stand in for the one and only and I need your help. 

I’ve been meaning to ask this on more than one occasion when browsing YouTube to share music but just like Red, I too get easily distracted 🥴🍺👌

Yeah anyway, when I’m listening to a track I tend to browse through the comments and I found a certain type just keeps popping up and I’m not sure what to think. 

You may know the type.. “this track means so much to me as it reminds me of my dear old mum who was my world and sadly left it only a few months ago.” They’ll be the most commented or upvoted posts and well, they make me laugh!! 

Is that bad 😬 

The thing is I have this thought, more like a gut feeling really, that they’re not all real. I find them too often and often they’re centred right of ridiculous. 

Imagine now watching one of Mickey’s fat bloke makes toad in the hole videos and the the top post says 

“this means so much to me finding this. It was my dear dad’s favourite dish and the last words he ever spoke “toad in the hole” when putting on the green before getting frazzled by a lightening strike. My partner and I named our first born Kermit in his remembrance.”  

REALLY!!! Are the 5K upvotes given with love or outright laughter 🤷‍♂️ 

Knowing SM I can easily imagine your TED from TWATTER type browsing through Youtube looking for the right vid and posting some preposterous comment just to see how many votes “it” can gather in a day. week, month, year, even years.. They’re a hardy folk and like the long game as we know.  

Anyway back to my request… Am I the only one that see’s these and laughs or do I really, ya know… Need help?  

I don’t want to start a thing but now I’ve said it I’m guessing I’ll start a thing so if (when) you come by one, post your song and copy the comment in your post. We can all, umm.. LAUGH 😁
