Friday night music on 4KK.

Friday is a funny old day, it usually sits just before Saturday and just after Thursday, though this is not always the case, obviously.

The Saudi transfer window has finally closed, they can now put their oil money away and go back to buying countries until the next window opens. Now that we know they’re desperate for Mo I reckon we ask for £300 million when they come calling again, the narcissistic imbeciles.

Anyway, back to the music.

Away from mainstream music there are plenty of indi bands out there that sometimes struggle to get a recording contract, which in some cases is a shame.

Todays topic is the 1860’s. I believe there were some proper rebel bands out there in the mid 19th century. Personally I can’t think of any but I’m sure Mike and Greg remember a good few of them.

Music tastes vary, obviously . One’s own music taste can change as one ages, usually to become more diverse and a enjoyment of a wider range of stuff n things, apparently.
