Is this a game of the greatests? The greatest Liverpool team, and their greatest manager playing against their greatest former player who manages their greatest ever transfer sale of an injured player….Who knows but on each count the argument could easily be made.

Aston Villa on their own ground will not be an easy task to overcome even though their form lately has been patchy to say the least. Add in the ex Liverpool staff at Villa( (Gerrard, Coutinho and Ings) who will be fired up for the game and the fact that Liverpool players have played loads of very intense games lately and it could be a real challenge. I expect you all still have nightmares about the 7-2 result which is one of the worse results any of us can remember of late. Given what is at stake and the level this current Liverpool team is at I don’t think anything like that result is possible but as the mantra goes anything other than a win would derail any chance of the league. Still, I am confident this team will give everything and will prevail, to keep their hopes alive and attention will turn to look across the Midlands to Wolves. What a wonderful end to the season we have before us COYR!
