Liverpool V Brentford.

Match day at home again, like for the 3rd match on the spin. Will we put the pressure, like proper pressure on Manure by Saturday evening with a win? Let’s hope so.

Brentford are a club I think I can safely…. ish say we all admire and hope they do well in the PL, though not today for obviously obvious reasons. But after today we will once again wish them well on their merry journey in the top flight of English footy.

Brentford do have a bit of history, well longevity actually. They were established in 1889, which is 3 years before us. Have they won any major trophies? No is the answer but they did win the 1942 London War Cup at Wembley stadium, defeating Portsmouth 2-0 in front of 70,000 fans. Not bad considering there was a war on.

But anyway, that’s enough of my Google searching, gets a bit boring after a while to be honest.

Nothing but a win will do today so let’s hope we can defend better than we did against Fulham were we conceded no goals. I know, crazy isn’t it 🤷.

Every game is a must win but this one is especially a must win. Why? Coz it’s our next game, obvs.

Today we dine with Kings, though his anthem will be boo’d like crazy 🤣. Oh well.
