Liverpool v Lask

Hopefully, tonight will see us qualify and there is an outside chance we could do it as group winners though to do so we need SG to take points off Toulouse and for us to win. That said, we should have at least drawn the last game and on paper, probably should have won it even with a second string starting the game. So nothing is a given.

I expect a good few of the youngsters will again feature from the start and it will be interesting to see how they are progressing. We will have Kelleher in goal again too and with Alisson’s injury he could be featuring for a few matches to come. Klopp said it was a minor issue and he could be out for a couple of weeks, so we might not see him again this season😏. On Kelleher, Klopp has said it’s his chance to show what he can do and though goalkeepers mature later, he is now 25 and probably really needs to move on at the end of this season for his own good. There is even an argument that we should play one of the other goalies in this competition and save Kelleher for the league.
