Liverpool v Leiceicestershire

Some people seem to think I leave these articles until the last minute and then just quickly knock up a load of old rubbish to get something out there. Well, I can tell you that that nothing could be nearer to the truth. I have, in fact, spent most of the last few seconds days analysing both team’s strengths and weaknesses and reviewing their head to head matches all the way back to last month. I will not bother you with all the details of my intensive and exhaustive research, but the long and short of it is that all the evidence points to a Liverpool win.

Leicester are a bit of a bogey team for us and always seem to raise their game against us especially so since Brendan Rodger’s took charge, which seems to have given them an extra incentive. One thing in our favour though, apart from being the better team, is their long injury list which includes rat face (Vardy). They will still be a difficult opponent though and looking to bounce back from their FA Cup exit against Notts Forest and having been stung by their manager’s criticism. It is rumoured that he now has so many envelopes, he is thinking of opening a post office.

Sadio is still missing for this game having only just returned from AFCON but Salah is ready to go. Otherwise, it seems that Hendo is the only other doubt with a back problem leaving Klopp with an abundance of riches to choose from. My Team: Alisson, TAA, Matip, VVD, Robbo, Fab, Jones, Keita, Firmino, Jota, Salah.
