Liverpool v Leicester city C Cup.

We move on to the beginning of our third competition so early in the season. The Caraboa Cup ( if I spelled it wrong then sue me ) or as I remember it, the league cup.

We’ve had famous match ups in this competition. I was actually there when we beat SkipRats back in 83, 3-1 after extra time at Wembley. I was there at Wembley a year later when we played the BlueShite….that ended nil friggin nil but hey the chants from both sets of fans to the tune of Merseyside, Merseyside, Merseyside were almost worth the journey to London. I was also at the replay at Maine road ( Manc bastard land ) when we won 1-0 thanks to a Suey goal. Me coach was full of BlueShite fans, therefore I didn’t celebrate too much on the way home, for obviously obvious reasons.

I digress, not like me, obviously 🙄🤔.

Tonights opponent is Leicester city. They’re not very good but they did win the league in 2015/16 when the rest of the division took a years sabbatical.

Founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse FC. They’ve not really won much. Though they have won the league as afore mentioned and the FA cup in 2021.

They won the league cup 3 times, in 64 ( the greatest year known to man, woman or beast…yeah I was born in 64…) 1997 and 2000, which is 3 more than the BlueShite have ever won it, coz they’re shite.

This match is not going to be a walk in the park but hopefully a stroll on the footy pitch as we once again put them in their place along with their disgraceful, disgusting fans.

The kids with a mixture of experience will play tonight, I say kids and experience lightly because plenty of our kids already have experience. Doak is only 17 and yet he’s already capable of starting in the PL. Jarell has already played in the PL at 20 and looking like a proper player.

The future sure looks bright.
