Liverpool v Leicester city PSF.

After a brief spell back at Kirkby following our training camp in Germany the lads have moved on to Singapore to continue preparations for the coming season.

Today we match up with Leicester city from the Championship. They could have obviously remained in the EPL if only they had put the BlueShite to the sword. Oh well they only have themselves to blame. Word on the street is Wrexham want to buy Vardy, transfer fee to be negotiated but Wrexham have put in a opening gambit of a fish supper, they’re holding back on the onion gravy for a later date.

Leicester, also known as the foxes were founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse and played their version of football at Filbert Street before moving to their new stadium in 2002.

They won the league….. somehow in 2015/16. And were runners up in……..1928/29. They also won the FA cup, once in 2020/21. League cup winners 3 times 1963/64, 96/97 and 1999/2000.

They’re still shite though.

Once again we see our players becoming injured. Szobo, who apparently hasn’t been injured in two years is crocked. Bradley who navigated his way through a season at Bolton isn’t available either, yep, he’s injured too.

Thiago is on the road to recovery and should be fit next summer when his contract expires. Baj is fooked ATM too. Who says training is brutal?

Its a early KO today, like 10 am, which is a bit nuts to start a footy match so early in the morning, don’t ya think 🤷.

A win would be welcome, obviously but as Manure can testify……it’s only pre season and all their defeats don’t matter, which TBF I have to agree with, even if they are utter shite.

A great performance from the lads is what we want with no more delayed injuries.
