Liverpool v Southampton
We come to the final game of a very mixed half of a season which leaves us just above mid table. Whilst we haven’t always played our best football I do feel our position is not a true reflection of our play. The hope is in the second half of the season and with a few more players back to full fitness, especially Diaz, we can push on in the second half of the season, claim a CL place and hopefully some silverware too. We will need to push on right from the off though, with some tough cup ties against Man City and Real Madrid, early doors.
Anyway, there is the small matter of Southampton later today. Another team at the relegation zone that we should beat with some comfort, right? Well lets hope we can sign off for now with a resounding win. Frankly, I fear for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s job…..COYR
