Liverpool v West ‘aaaaam

I am not saying that moving to England is the answer to everybody’s problems but ….

Anyway, there is the small matter of West ‘aaam tonight and the need for us to build on the victory over Man City on Sunday. (Oh it’s great to be able to say that) . But the ‘ammers will be no pushover and we will have to play to a similar standard if we are to win the game, as we must.

Hopefully, we soon have some reinforcements coming back from injury. Curtis Jones is close, as is Ox with Konate not far away and even Keita who needs some game time before the World cup. But Curtis is probably the only one who might get a few minutes tonight. The more pressing question is who replaces Jota on the left and it’s between Carvalho or Nunez and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it shared with Carvalho to start and Nunez to replace him or vice versa. The other question is whether we play Tsimikas or save him for even more important games to come…..

There is an interesting bit where Klopp praises Nunez and says he is always looking to get more goals and then adds….. and create chances. The little smile suggests to me he is referring to the break Nunez made and then failed to pass inside to Salah who would have been in on goal.😁
