Liverpool v West Ham Utd.

Our lads head back to Anfield after a little mid-week European vacation to face a team that splits fans and pundits, some think they are a team that will challenge or at least put the traditional top 6 clubs to a test and then there are others who think they are lucky to be currently sitting 6th. If current form is anything to go by West Ham can not be considered an easy game. They currently have only lost one game in their last 6 matches and that was to Man City and with wins over Brighton, Chelsea and a mid-week win in their Europa group.
Now should this be a game and team Liverpool FC beat, of course, but we must stop giving all these teams a 1 goal lead with such miserable 1st half efforts from the team. Although as I type that, I can’t recall which season it was but not too long ago I recall some of us old school guards saying the same thing and I believe we continued with the poor 1st halves form for majority of the season and it ended up being a darn good season in the end. Having said that we can not continue to ride our luck and what ever Klopp and Co say to the lads at half time maybe they should be playing that over the bus speaker on the way to the ground. These are the must win games for us especially if we hope to stay close to City and challenge them for the title this season.
Klopp’s line-up should be interesting with TAA supposedly back from injury, the return of VVD from his suspension, Ibu also being fully fit and Robbo being made of concrete should mean a more settled back 4. Several lads played limited minutes mid-week so they should all be fresh now in the middle of park. As for our forward line, well where does Klopp start as each one of them deserves to be on the pitch. I feel Nunez will be dropped to the bench after starting on Thursday night, plus he’s an absolute animal and menace off the bench.
With all that in mind I feel the midfield and forward line will be the same line up as Klopp used against Wolves:
Alisson, Robbo, VVD, Ibu, TAA, Jones, Gary Mac, Szobo, Jota, Gakpo, Salah.
