Liverpool v Wolves

It’s very fitting that Jurgen’s last game in charge of Liverpool is at Anfield. It’s just a shame that a win against Wolves on the last day of this season won’t end, the way it did in 1976, with another league title.

I know Jurgen has said the most important thing is to win the game but for me the result won’t be something I remember nor even the performance. I will remember this game for the outpouring of thanks for what he has achieved for our club. He has given everything he has to give and I am sure that, as with everything else he has done at the club, he will once again show his class in his leaving.

I cannot possibly find the words to do justice to his achievements, so I won’t try, but will simply say thanks for the memories and enjoy a well earnt rest. There will never be another Jurgen Norbert Klopp.
