Netherlands v England

It is lovely to see the whole of Scotland covered in red white and blue. I can only assume they are all full square behind the Union and this is their way of showing their unbridled support for England as the sole Home Nations’ representatives left in the Euros. It’s their way of saying thanks for at least trying to bring football home when their team couldn’t. 😇

I think most people will agree that Sir Gareth’s crusade to win the Euros for the whole of Britain is coming along nicely. His latest game plan to despatch the Netherlands will be to start the game with a team of ten defencders and then bring on five penalty taking subs just before the end of extra time. Always looking to gain an edge, he has also called on a fluent Dutch speaker, ex England manager Steve McClaren, to teach the team to speak Dutch so they can understand what the opposition is planning at set plays.
