Newcastle v Liverpool
It’s just not tennis
<I have been to Newcastle once and on a Winter’s night out there I made the mistake of taking my coat and felt completely overdressed. I would have been fine in my crop top and mini skirt but the coat gave away the fact that I wasn’t a local. A bit like “on ma heed” Robbo I stood out like a sore thumb.
Anyway, on to the game. An unpopular lunchtime kick off time, but, as they say, it’s the same for both teams and on form we should prevail as we have before. Newcastle will not be a pushover though, as Eddie Howe has got them clear of trouble and playing quite well. Four wins on the trot I believe. I could be wrong but I don’t think they just sit back as deep as some teams but will try to play a bit of football which, in turn, should play into our hands.
There will be no rest after today though as it’s Villarreal again on Tuesday and just like a “hard” working Tory backbencher the games are coming thick and fast…..
