Rotation is the name of the game
AN ARTICLE BY MYSTIC
<I wrote about this sometime back because I firmly believed then that if we are to
- Win trophies this season and
- Avoid injuries
This would and should be the most sensible approach.
So with Just about 2 months remaining in the season and with the Quadruple also still on (Wrote about that too)- Of course I am being a Realist. We are 4 points behind City with a game in hand. Sort Arsenal on Wednesday (done) and Watford Saturday morning and we’ll be leading City by 2 before they play next.
City are cracking but we know they can go into Robotic mode so our game at Emptihad is very important. My prediction 3-1 win for us.
The CL draw has been reasonably kind to us with Benfica.
We are capable of beating ANY team. ANY.
Here’s a lovely stat for you guys…,
Liverpool have played 17 games in 2022 Klopp has made 76 changes to his starting line ups Averaging 4.4 changes a game during the last 10 weeks. It’s a masterclass in rotation ,Keeping his first team squad primed for action whenever they’re needed without overlying on anyone.
I did have little chat with Mr. Klopp about that too if you guys remember because my biggest criticism of him has always been about not rotating enough and making enough in game substitutions.
We have an almost full squat at the moment. Come on Mo. Let’s sort that ankle.
We have 7 forwards, 7 defenders, 3 goal keepers and 8 midfielders well 9 with Morton. The most important group there to keep fit are those midfielders.
I love the 60 minute substitutions where it’s 2 and 2. Each MF getting game time and different combinations used. I like the Fabs/Hendo no 6 role too.
Diaz is the lucky charm. His arrival 6 months earlier has added that 20% boost that we needed. Every forward is now fighting for their place. Awesome.
My Crystal ball said that we will be going on a 10-12 game winning streak in the PL and that City meanwhile will Draw, Lose and Draw. Thanks CB. Let’s get some other predictions also right.
We deserve to win our 20th and for fans to celebrate properly. We missed out on celebrating 19. With stats like the ones below we are so deserving of it.
