Sorry for blabbering……
Anyways, As you all might have seen from me since the end of last season there’s 1 thing that I have been beating on about over and over and over again- Rotation.
We’ve played 5 games this season so far- 4 wins and 1 draw. (Chelsea were bloody lucky to get it.)
I don’t usually criticise my club, owners, managers and fans because I leave that to the Trolls (Especially on TIA) and I like taking the piss. But when criticism is due I do it but more positive criticism.
My 1 criticism of Mr Klopp ( Bowing down to our 1 and only crazy German manager – The Kaiser of the Kop) has been his reliance or over reliance on certain individuals and lack of rotation , some it it as favouritism to certain players. Well I don’t know if it’s the lack of confidence in some but last season for me went wrong due to this fact. When we lost our 3 CBs our Lumbar we made that horrible mistake of also blowing our Thoracic part of the spine by shifting Fabinho and Hendo to the back which just had this massive knock on effect where we had to play the same individuals in the middle and up front. Mane and Bobby had their worst season yet they were played over and over again. Yes we had an injury ravaged season but if we played the right individuals in the right positions even though young Rhys,Nat,Kabak then we had the option of rotation more.
All’s well in Hindsight but after 5 games I have a feeling Mr Klopp has also understood the need for ROTATION. I am thrilled to see the fringe players getting opportunities since game 1. This will only bode well because every player now knows they’ll get a chance, they are motivated, are working hard in training because they don’t want to fail when given that chance. We have to give the injury prone players more rest, we have to give the ones coming back from injury game time. We are a squad. We must give every person a chance.
The other day I called for 3 changes VS Milan 1 each in the 3 areas and guess what Mr. Klopp delivered it. I also said there are 5 subs which we must use wisely to give people game time. Guess what he did it. He also changed things up early didn’t wait until the 78th or 82nd minute. The only game where we lacked ideas was against Chelsea. I felt we needed to change shape and use our CBS as target men –guess what we’ve done that in the last 2 games. He is changing adapting. It just all suddenly feels that we are back. Everyone doing their part.
Thank you for listening. Again, Sorry for the blabbering.
1 more thing. I just absolutely love our Harvey and hope he comes back stronger. He’s soon rising up the ranks in my favorite player column. I feel in the not so near future he will end up being no 1 just like Stevie did as a young kid.
Good luck to us. Let’s get no 20 and 7.
COYR.
