The Euros start tonight. I think we can safely say the whole of Europe has been holding its breath waiting for this game to see exactly what they are all up against. However, I fully expect Sir Gareth to keep them all guessing and not reveal the full strength of the team but rather to lull them into a false sense of security with a below par performance. I expect a win, but a draw would be a clever move on his part and I wouldn’t be surprised even to see him completely fool everyone with an unexpected defeat. Though I fear Steve Clarke may have well and truly stolen that tactic from under his nose.

Pleased to report the mouth breathers are not only able to chant En ger lund but can also sing songs about a war that finished nearly eighty years ago,The little scamps are just ‘avin’ a larf of course and doing their bit for international relations. It’s not their fault if Germans don’t have a sense of humour…
