West ‘aaaaam vs Liverpool
Next up it’s West ‘aaaaam or the ‘ammers in a fixture re-arranged from when we played in the World Club Championship. I didn’t ‘ear Klopp moaning about too many games then or when we go on money making tours to the ends of the Earth just before the season starts. But I digress. Though Klopp makes some fair points about this at the start of his press conference below. Back to important footballing matters now though like the West ‘aaaaam mascot (pictured below) which is a very good and surprisingly realistic representation of a ‘ammerhead shark. The mascot ‘as its own pool to keep it well away from members of the public for very obvious safety reasons……………… to protect it from the West ‘aaaaam fans.
The ‘ammers have won only 26 of the last 68 matches at the London Stadium. West ‘aaaaam ‘ave lost more matches this season (12) than they ‘ave won or drawn (11). At ‘ome they ‘ave lost 6, drawn 3 and won just two. Liverpool ‘ave won 2 and drawn one of their last three visits including 4-0 and 4-1 wins. On that basis we should expect to win the game but, as the season enters the crucial stages, West ‘aaaaam are just one place above the relegation zone on goal difference and fighting for every point.
David Moyes manages them now of course after the excellent job ‘e did (for us) at Manchester United and I think ‘e can do a similar job at West ‘aaaaam and next season I fully expect ‘im to get them into the top four………of the Championship. After all is said and done ‘e is a complete and utter winner.
